- Expression_talk:film DM - A motion picture; a thin flexible strip of cellulose coated with a photographic emission, used to make negatives and transparencies.
This covers both the medium used to produce a moving picture and the end result. IMO, the DM should be split in 2. --Sannab 13:00, 16 September 2006 (CEST)

- Expression_talk:mother - too narrow a Definition. -- Purodha Blissenbach 17:27, 15 September 2006 (CEST)

- Expression_talk:vrede, Definition in several languages are imho too unspecific. --Purodha Blissenbach 23:32, 14 September 2006 (CEST)
- Expression_talk:Lift, Expression_talk:Fahrstuhl benötigen sachliche Korrekturen. --Purodha Blissenbach 22:43, 14 September 2006 (CEST)
- Expression_talk:Mensch - "human race" is technically incorrect. --Purodha Blissenbach 22:48, 14 September 2006 (CEST)

- Expression_talk:narrow I pestered Dvortygirl into rewriting the Definition of narrow on enwikt, and this is what she came up with: having a small width; not wide; slim; slender; having opposite edges or sides that are close, especially by comparison to length or depth. Should we rephrase the Definition here in a similar manner --Sannab 18:49, 10 September 2006 (CEST)
- Expression_talk:short There are currently 2 DM:s: 1.Not large or big; few in numbers or size. 2.Small in length by comparison. It seems to me that the base meaning of these is the relatively small length, and that the shortness of numbers is what needs to be specified in a separate DM.--Sannab 09:38, 10 September 2006 (CEST)

- Expression_talk:population There are now three DMs (after I added one for the Estonian expression rahvastik). One of them should go, perhaps, or at least they should be organized better. --Mikalaari 11:53, 7 September 2006 (CEST)

- Expression_talk:fountain There are 2 DM:s, but they seem very similar. Should they be merged? --Sannab 22:03, 30 August 2006 (CEST)

- Expression_talk:1, Expression_talk:2, Expression_talk:3, Expression_talk:4, etc. I think DMs mentioning "arabic" numbers should be changed, since they're of Latn script and Expression:decimal notation, as opposed to numerals of Arab Script. -- Purodha Blissenbach 13:19, 29 August 2006 (CEST)
- Expression_talk:1, Expression_talk:2, Expression_talk:3, Expression_talk:4, etc. digits and numbers should not be entered as part of every language, but rather have language code
zxx(No linguistic content) and be imported into languages via domains, if need be. ---Purodha Blissenbach 13:19, 29 August 2006 (CEST)

- Expression_talk:freeze (English):To be at a temperature below 0 degrees celsius. To freeze is only equivalent with being below 0 degrees celsius as far as water is concerned.--Sannab 21:17, 23 July 2006 (CEST)
- Expression_talk:frieren (German): all DMs lack precision. -- Purodha Blissenbach 08:08, 24 July 2006 (CEST)

- Expression_talk:cock (English): A male bird. — This definition seems to be to be incorrect. Is not a cock a male bird of the any of the species belonging to the bird order Galliformes (Swedish: Expression:hönsfågel)?--Sannab 15:06, 21 July 2006 (CEST)
- Expression_talk:cook (English): verb, transitive: to apply heat to something, usually food — This Definition is imo flawed because I believe it is a mistake to list grammatical information in the Definition and The verb cook imo includes a strong purpose which is missing from the definition; ie that what is heated should be made into a meal. I strongly believe that we need to specify DM:s very narrowly. enwikt's To prepare (food) for eating by heating it, often by combining it with other ingredients. would serve better. However, is not the preparation of the ingredients (cleaning, chopping etc) not also a part of cooking?--Sannab 12:12, 21 July 2006 (CEST)
- Expression_talk:queen (English): A female monarch — Not all female monarchs are queens. Does it matter?; The wife of a king — Not every spouse of king is necessarily a queen. Does it matter?; — A playing card with a picture of a queen on its face; the 12th card in a given suit — There are decks/playing rules where Queen is not at position 12, there's not always a Queens picture. I'd suggest to add "usually", or "customarily". --Purodha Blissenbach 17:00, 21 July 2006 (CEST)
